The Autumn Tag

There is a few things I just love about sundays. Firstly, I enjoy doing nothing! Nothing is better than a chilled sunday in your Pj's catching up with youtube, reading blogs, and eating everything in sight (in my case anyways!). I also love that it means it's time for the twitter #bbloggers chat, which I am new too but have really enjoyed partaking in and meeting such a fabulous bunch of people. That brings me to this post - The Autumn Tag, which I saw on Bows & Buttons blog that I was introduced to last sunday during the chat, and have really enjoyed reading. With it being sunday I also thought this was the perfect type of blog post for a lazy day!

That being said, Ill stop rambling and get on with it...

1. Ok we're talking coffees - what's your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero etc?
I had really never tried a hot drink up until last christmas, crazy I know! However, after much encouragement from my university friends I tried the Toffee Nut Latte in Starbucks... I think my life changed. I must have had at least one a day if not more during the christmas assignment period, I was hooked! I cannot wait for this years.

2. Accessories - what do you opt for, scarf, boots, gloves?
Boots are my favourite item of clothing/accessory and if I could get away with wearing them all year round I totally would. I always make sure I have a good pair of ankle boots to get me through the winter season and more recently I have been loving over the knee boots which I got from Topshop for christmas last year and love! I also love scarfs, I never wrap them around mind you I just leave them hanging round my neck but I think they can completely make an outfit. I love my scarfs to match, whether thats to my coat, gloves, boots etc I just think it makes an outfit look more complete and well put together.

3. Music - what's your favourite music to listen to during Autumn?
I wouldn't say that I change my music dependant on the season that much. I definitely listen to more club type music in the summer as I have been going to Ibiza for the last couple of years but as for Autumn I'd just say something probably more chilled or whatever is in the charts. Right now I am most definitely loving Adele's new song Hello, and I'm really looking forward to getting her album.

4. Perfume - what's your favourite scent for this time of year?
I am really loving Gucci Premiere right now which my dad bought me from duty free when he last came to visit. It is definitely a more wintery and autumnal scent, for me personally anyway and I am just loving it at the moment.

5. Candles - what scents will you be burning this season?
Yankee Candle do some amazing scents, such as Black Cherry, Fireside and Cosy By The Fire which I currently have around the house (well my mum does). I like to have the Black Cherry in my room as it's probably my favourite autumn scent that I've found, and then ill change it when the christmas range start pouring into the shops if they haven't already! My dad has bought me a few three wick candles from Bath and Body Works, which I have to give Zoella credit for in this video (here), but I can't try them until he flies over here later in the month.

6. What do you love most about Autumn?
I love the clothes as anything knit and cosy is my favourite, as well as the darker autumnal colour ranges. Autumn is  my favourite time of year purely down to the colours which are just beautiful. I also love the crisp cold air and the cosy nights in that it brings with it, just chilling at home with friends or my boyfriend and watching rubbish tv and movies.

7. Favourite makeup look?
I love a golden or bronze shimmery eye shadow which I think is very autumnal and I find the Naked 2 palette really good for this time of year, and looks really nice with a simple eyeliner flick. If I'm not in the mood for obvious eyeshadows thought I do also love berry and other deep coloured lipsticks, which at the moment I am really loving the MAC Stone and Diva.

8. What are you looking forward to most in Autumn?
I graduate in November so thats something I'm really looking forward to and that I'm really proud of. It also means that my dad and step mum are flying over from Canada for two weeks so will be lovely to see them and go visit Scotland too. Mostly I am looking forward to buying new clothes and dressing warm, and the cry nights in with friends and family. Not to mention I have a little nephew who was born in October (and his brother is two), so I can't wait to spoil them as usual!

I'm not going to tag anyone as I don't know that many bloggers, and definitely not well known enough for them to see it if I did tag them so Ill just let whoever else wants to join it to have a go! Let me know if you post it as I love reading these chilled kind of posts.
