Get To Know Me Tag

As it is now officially the 2016, I thought what better way than to do the ‘Get To Know Me’ Beauty Blogger Tag. I hope in this new year that my blog expands even by a small amount, and that I gain some lovely new readers, and thought this tag was just the perfect opportunity to start the year off.

Question 1. Is Your Hair Naturally Straight or Curly?

Curly. Unfortenately not the kind of curly that you can just leave… oh no.. more like the frizz bomb curly!

Question 2. Do You Dye it yourself, or go to a Salon?

I usually go to a salon, but I have dyed it myself before so maybe a bit of both. Since Ive had my ombre done early last year I haven’t touched the top layers of my hair so Im (nearly) all natural now.

Question 3. Do You Wear The Same Style Everyday, Or Do You Change It?

I change between two or three styles. Mainly straight and down, but sometimes wavy, or in a high messy bun. I always leave it to nights out to make the most effort.

Question 4. How Long Does It Take For You To Put Your Makeup On?

In the mornings before work I would say around 15 minutes. If I’m going out anywhere say on the weekends probably half hour, and then nights out and special occasions an hour+ depending on the look I’m going for. 

Question 5. What Do You Do First? Eyes or Face?

I do my eyebrows, then my face. I haven’t tried doing my eyes first before, but the whole concept of doing it that way just seems weird to me.

Question 6. Do You Collect Makeup, Or Just Buy As And When You Need It?

I would say I collect almost all types of make up, the only thing I can really say I buy when I need is foundation. This is because when I find one I like I stick to it, I have one for work with less coverage and a more heavier one for every other time. I do use these up nearly before I buy a new one.

Question 7. How Often Do You Wear False Eyelashes?

Hardly ever. I only wear them on special occasions just because they kind of irritate me, however I did get lots of the Eyelure Lashes for christmas so I will probably be wearing them more now.

Question 8. What Are Your Current Everyday Staples?

Moisturiser is a definite. I do have an everyday routine which I follow religiously (read about it here), but if for some sad reason I couldn’t do it, I wouldn’t cope without moisturiser. Then I would say makeup wise my benefit foundation and Rollerlash mascara. Soap & Glory archery is also up there.

Question 9. Do You Wear Makeup When You're Home Alone, or With Family?

Never. I love to wear makeup and I very rarely leave the house without it, but I also love lounging at home bare faced!

Question 10. How Many High End Products Do You Have?

Most of my make up is high end I would say, usually benefit as that is my favourite brand, but I don’t mind high street brands as some products are amazing like the Revolution eye shadow palettes and Maybeline Lash Sensational. 

Question 11. Do You Plan your OOTD The Night Before, or Decide When You're Getting Ready?

When Im getting ready in the morning I decide as it depends on the weather and how Im feeling. However for nights out, if I know in advance I plan as soon as I know.

Qustion 12. How Often Do You Change Your Handbag?

I have four that I rotate with but one of those is like my staple black bag that I use the most from Next.

Question 13. How Often, Or When Do You Work Out?

I haven’t worked out in so long! I go on long walks quite regularly and do the odd classes, but haven’t had a proper work out in a few months. I hope that changes this year!

Question 14. Left Or Right Handed? 

Right handed! 

Question 15. How Tall Are You?

5”4 - so average!

Question 16. Do You Speak Any Foreign Languages?

Not at all. I can read a little Russian as in when Im in the city I can read signs and things, but cannot speak a word of any other language than English. 

Qustion 17. Sweet Or Savoury?

Savoury. I love chocolate, but if I was in a restaurant I would much rather a starter than a dessert. 

Question 18. What's Your Favourite Perfume?

I love YSL - Black Opium and Narciso Rodriguez - For Her. My everyday perfume is the Red Vanilla from Zara which is gorgeous for £7.99.

Question 19. How Many Pets Do You Have?

I have a cat called Max who lives with my dad in Canada.

Question 20. Do You Read Comments Posted On Blogs?

I love to read comments! I always check them out on other blogs as its always good to see what content people enjoy, as well as if they have any similar posts etc.

Question 21. Do You Keep A List Of Other Products To Try When You See Other Posts?

I don’t actually right a list but I usually save the persons blog post as a bookmark or more than often if I really want something Ive seen on a post or Instagram ill just remember it. 

Question 22. How Did You Come Up With Your Blog Name?

Pretty simple really, Its my first and middle name. I always thought that the most practical blog names are the simple ones, and names are just as simple as it could get, but I didn’t think my last name flowed that well so I used my middle name instead. 

Question 23. What Kind Of Camera Do You Use For Your Photos?

I currently use my iPhone 6 as Im getting a camera for my birthday but I’m too busy changing my mind on which one I want to actually get it!

Question 24. What's Your Favourite Colour?

Black. Always Black. Maybe a little grey. 

Question 25. Do You Swear?

Depends who Im with. If its my friends then yes, especially if I’m on a night out and have had a drink. But with my family I never do.

Question 26. What Are You Doing With The Rest Of Your Day?

Just lounging about spending the day with my boyfriend whose come to visit me after 9 long weeks apart… so probably just chilling, cuddling and eating!
